Executive chef Ajay Kumar founded Kismet Modern Indian in 2021 and leads the culinary team at the restaurant. Ajay also received a Michelin Bib Gourmand award for Kismet’s sister restaurant Karma Modern Indian in downtown Washington DC. Ajay’s vast culinary experience includes more than 15 years of cooking in New Delhi. Kismet Modern Indian accepts credit cards and provides multiple vegetarian options, wheelchair accessibility, waiter service, heated outdoor seating, a full bar, bike parking, catering, takeout, and delivery.
