Race for a Good Cause During the Alexandria Turkey Trot

On November 25, 2021, Alexandria’s 46th annual Alexandria Turkey Trot will welcome people of all ages and fitness abilities to start their Thanksgiving on a healthy note. All the proceeds earned from the event will go toward a non-profit organization, Alive!, assisting the community in need of food, clothes, and shelter.
You can get an idea of what the Turkey Trot course looks like beforehand and view it on their website under race info. Keep in mind, the race will be five miles long, and you have the option of running, jogging, or walking – whichever is your preference. You can turn this event into a competition and work toward winning a cash and gift prize, or enter for fun and good exercise before you chow down on your Thanksgiving dinner. If you’re not interested in running but want to help out, you can also volunteer and still be involved with the event. You can sign up and assist with set-up, registration and packet pick up, t-shirt distribution, or greeting.
