Beyond the simple, classic dishes featured by the original Peoples counter, The People’s Drug upgrades basic dishes and makes them something special. That typical cheeseburger you once would have enjoyed becomes the Peoples burger, with onion marmalade, house sauce, applewood bacon, arugula, and gouda cheese atop a brioche bun. A side of fries is made over with options like Cajun, parmesan, or truffle fries. The drinks, too, are now new-and-improved. Rather than a rootbeer float or vanilla coke, you’ll find local IPA and creative takes on a classic old fashioned.
